This is the ultimate 9-night tour of Scotland for those who wish to experience the raw and rugged energy of the Highlands and Islands, but in the luxurious comfort of some of the country’s finest hotels. All with Cameron, your personal driver and his Land Rover Defender - the most iconic vehicle in which to experience Scotland.

The Grand Tour Itinerary

  • Day 1 Edinburgh

    Stay at 100 Princes Street

    Cameron will greet you at Edinburgh airport and whisk you off to 100 Princes Street where you will be offered champagne on arrival. Depending on your arrival time, we can schedule a walk through the Old Town before settling for a delicious dinner.

  • Day 2: Loch Lomond, Inveraray

    Stay at Loch Fyne Hotel and Spa

    Journey past Loch Lomond into the Highlands of Scotland. We visit Inveraray Castle before relaxing in the first-class spa facilities at Loch Fyne Spa and Hotel.

  • Day 3: Glen Coe, Fortwilliam

    Stay at Inverlochy Castle

    We stop briefly at Kilchurn Castle and St. Conan’s Kirk before passing through the mighty Glen Coe and Glen Etive.

  • Day 4: Isle of Skye

    Stay at the Three Chimneys

    From Fort William we stop at the iconic Eilean Donan Castle before crossing the bridge to Skye. We visit Sligachan Bridge, Dunvegan Castle, Coral Beach and Neist Point. A fine dinner and stay at the Three Chimneys crowns the end of this magical day.

  • Day 5: Isle of Skye

    Stay at Kinloch Lodge

    A flexible day of options. Either a hike to the Old Man of Storr followed by a visit to the Quiraing and the Fairy Glen or a gentle wander in Portree, the Fairy Pools and Talisker Distillery. The evening is spent at Kinloch Lodge.

  • Day 6 Torridon

    Stay at the Torridon

    We follow the coast from Skye and up the famous Applecross pass to The Torridon, beginning our two-night stay in this exceptional hotel nestled in some of the most dramatic scenery that Scotland has to offer.

  • Day 7: Part of the NC500

    Stay at The Torridon

    We take a circular route of Wester Ross, visiting Victoria Falls, the Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve, Loch Gairloch, Inverewe Garden and passing through Little Loch Broom on our way back to the Torridon.

  • Day 8: Inverness, Cawdor Castle, Balmoral

    Stay at the Fife Arms

    Another day of options on our way to the Fife Arms in Braemar. We can stop at Inverness, the Culloden battlefield, Cawdor Castle or Balmoral Castle, depending on your preferences and season openings.

  • Day 9: Stirling & Edinburgh

    Stay at The Witchery or Gleneagles Townhouse

    Leaving Braemar we pass through the magnificent Glen Shee. From there we have the option of visiting Stirling Castle and the Wallace monument. Or for those who wish for more time in Edinburgh, we can take a direct route.

  • Day 10: Depart Edinburgh

    Cameron will take you to Edinburgh airport and bid you a sad farewell.
